Submit a Quote Contest

Happy Monday! It's busy, busy, busy over here in San Francisco at our studio. Ahh! So, I will make this sweet, short and as easy to understand as 1-2-3.

For those that read my latest blog entry with the winner from last week's "share Dainty Button" giveaway, our Easter Launch details and this contest, I'm blogging about, itself, you may already know most of the details. If not, this is what this blog is solely for : )

Dainty Button packages all orders in hand stamped muslin bags. Our customers happen to love these lil' bags, especially during the holidays, and quite frankly, I just adore them. Currently, this is what our handstamped bags look like...

I chose a famous quote from the French designer Yves Saint Laurent, which obviously relates to fashion/style. As much as I love this quote and will possibly continue to use it, I brainstormed an even better idea. Well, I think it's better : )

I love when I purchase something and there's a quirky lil' quote on the bag, box, etc. It's enjoyable to read and often makes me laugh. So, I thought it would be such a fun idea to do that to Dainty Button's hand stamped bags. This is where I need and WANT your help. I'd love to see what quotes you guys can come up with. There are some simple guidelines to this request, though. Such as:

1. They MUST relate to a woman's world.

2. They need to be as original as possible.

3. They must be appropriate (please use your discretion)

4. They need to be one paragraph or shorter (the shorter, the better)

5. 3 submissions per person allowed

I had originally said that you could submit them on FB or here, but to keep things very easy and simple for us, please email them. We WILL NOT take any submissions through FB inbox, fan page wall or blog comments. ONLY email : )

The contest is underway and will end on Friday, March 11th at 11:59 PM (PST). We will review all submissions over the weekend and announce the FIVE, YES FIVE, lucky winners on Monday morning, March 14th via blog as we introduce our Easter Launch. So, what does the winners receive?

1. A $10 credit to their next Dainty Button purchase and a "surprise" lil' pretty from our Dainty Button collection.

2. Their chosen submission will be customized into a stamp and used on our handmade muslin bags until June 1st, 2011.

Please, provide your name and location of where you live when you submit your quotes. This information will be used when we customize our stamps. Yes, all customers will see your name and location. We need to know who's behind that brilliant quote, right? : ) If you do not want your name or location, please still provide it BUT put "anonymous". We still would like your info for our own personal records.
