Mother's Day is quickly approaching. Two weeks after Easter. Can you believe it? And during this time, children, grandchildren, siblings, husbands and the list goes on, are searching for "that gift". The perfect gift for that special, lovely lady. During this time, churches plan their Sunday service to revolve around Mother's Day and most often, gifts are handpicked to hand out to the mother's in the church. So, if you're a ladies ministry director, pastor/minister's wife or participate in your Mother's Day program, what are you doing for your mothers? As a lot of you know, I'm a ministers daughter. I can recall on several occasions, when my mom was frantically searching for just the right gift for the mother's in our church. Now, she leaves that up to me. Ha! This can get very hectic and expensive in a large church, especially. Not that mom's don't deserve it, but when there are a couple hundred mom's, well, that's a pretty penny. Last year, I created and offered a promotion for ministers wives and churches to participate in, that saved them a lot of money and in return, gave them unique, one of a kind gifts for their ladies.
