Good morning! We are officially to DAY 4! This week has been a blast and it's not over yet! I will quickly get to our winner and today's giveaway but I wanted to remind everybody that we are launching our brand new website grand opening next week, MAY 18TH, which is why we're having such a party! It's a very busy and exciting couple weeks for us and we're very happy that you've decided to join the party. DIY: Mother's Day "Spa in a Bag": Segment 1 of 3

We have ANOTHER DIY video. I'll be upfront with you and let you know that we'll probably not do more than two of these a week, but Sunday is Mother's Day and I had a brilliant idea a couple days ago. Our church is giving a special gift to each mother on Sunday, which is "Spa in a Bag". This is a very simple and unique gift idea or even something you could enjoy for yourself. It's a "pamper yourself" treat and the great thing about it is it's inexpensive and budget friendly. I've broke this up in 3 DIY videos, so you'll get a treat each day until Friday. I hope that by Friday, you'll have a gift idea for Mother's Day or any other special occasion. Enjoy!

Good morning! I'm quickly trying to get this post done because I fell asleep last night without doing this and now I'm running a few minutes behind. I hate when that happens! Manic Monday DIY

Hello! How's everyone's Monday been? Good? Bad? Ok? Should we not discuss it? Monday's can be a little manic and blah, so what better way to end it than with a fun DIY video? Ok, maybe that's not what you need but let's face it, it's better than going to bed in a bad mood, right? Over the past couple years since birthing my little business (sounds a little weird and creepy), I've been asked on numerous occasions how I do this and that. I've shied away from this mainly because I've not had much time but also because I've not known what the protocol was for this as a business owner. What's ok to share and what's off limits? I've received so many emails from others telling me how much inspiration I am to them. It's a huge compliment and one that I take to heart. A DIY tutorial is a way to inspire others while sharing your talents. That being said, I've decided to do some DIY's and hopefully be a little inspiration to you crafters out there. I might bring on special guests to bring in their talents or it might just be lil' ol' me. I've decided to post a fun DIY once a week, maybe twice if I have time and it doesn't bore everybody to death. I chose today's DIY from a product that was in our etsy shop Dainty Button at one time. This happened to be one of our most popular items and I figured it was a fun choice. I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to share it with others and we'd love to hear your feedback. Our Grand Re-Opening

After over two years Dainty Button has decided to transition into a website. I've been attempting this little feat for over a year now and just haven't found the right time, until now. It's time. In February we launched a Skirt Collection which has been beyond successful and our business is growing quite quickly. In preparation of this, we're doing a lot of revamping, remodeling...going "under the knife" so to speak. There's little things we're changing as we prepare for this transition, such as shipping, packaging, customer service, marketing, etc. We'd love for all of our wonderful customers and fans to join us as we prepare for this big launch!

So what's expected in this website launch? A lot! The last month and a half, I've been designing our official Spring/Summer Collection and last week, we shot our commercial photo shoot with the fabulous genius of photographers, Sam Hassas http://www.hassasphotography.com/. It was an absolute wonderful experience. The group of models (I'll be introducing them closer to our launch date) that participated were amazing to work with. I'm very excited to do a blog post on the "behind the scenes" part of our photo shoot also a little closer to our photo shoot. I think everybody will really enjoy the inspiration I went with and eclectic feel of the entire collection. Not only will we be launching our new Spring/Summer Skirt Collection but new accessories for children, women and men. It's a GRAND re-opening.

What will happen to the etsy shop? Nothing. As of now, we're going to keep our etsy shop open. Temporarily. This is a transition from etsy to our website and our hopes is to traffic all of our clientele to our website. We hope that you will help us spread the word. We will also be revamping a lot of our inventory and some designs currently in our etsy shop will not be available once our official Spring/Summer Collection will launch. If there's something you've been eyeing for awhile, you might want to take advantage of it.

Mark your calendars...

Mark your calendars (and pocket books) for the special date of Friday, May 18th. This is going to be such a fun day. The festivities will begin on Monday, May 7th with our kick off of "The Seven Day Giveaway", leading up to the GRAND re-opening. The week of the 14th will kick off more festivities (FREE SHIPPING, discounts, sneak peeks, etc.) as we'll only be days away from our GRAND re-opening. Don't miss out on this fun week! In the meantime, you'll be seeing a lot of marketing from our end, promo's and email blasts promoting special savings!
